About the 300W Power Limit SXM cards run more aggressively at 400W, but PCIe heatsinks can't dissipate that much heat — which is why all PCIe A100s are factory-limited to 250W (40GB) or 300W (80GB). DCGM diagnostics may flag this because the firmware still identifies the card as SXM, but it's a cosmetic warning only and has zero impact on performance or stability in any workload. This card operates at the same 300W spec as any factory A100 80GB PCIe.
