The Juniper Networks SRX4600 Services Gateway is a high-performance, next-generation firewall (NGFW) and hardware-accelerated security gateway purpose-built to protect mission-critical data centers, large enterprise campuses, and cloud service provider environments. Housed in a compact 1U form factor, the SRX4600 runs on the reliable Junos OS and features dual 14-core Intel Xeon processors, enabling it to deliver an impressive Internet Mix (IMIX) firewall throughput of up to 400 Gbps. It seamlessly unifies carrier-class routing with advanced security capabilities, including automated SD-WAN, intrusion prevention (IPS), malware sandboxing via Juniper Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP), and Encrypted Traffic Insights to expose threats within SSL transactions. Engineered for high resiliency, the architecture physically isolates the control and data planes, features stateful clustering for high availability, and incorporates N+1 redundant fans alongside hot-swappable dual AC or DC power supplies.
