Overview
The dual socket, 1U Dell PowerEdge R660xs server offers several storage options including up to 4x 3.5” SAS/SATA HDD/SSD bays or up to 10x 2.5” SAS/SATA/NVMe HDD/SSD bays. On the rear, there are 2x 2.5” SAS/SATA/NVMe HDD/SSD drive bays for more storage or to boot the operating system. All of these components are supported by dual 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 64 cores per socket. The system is powered by dual hot-swappable, redundant power supplies.
