Overview
The Cisco A99-48X10GE-1G-TR is a high-density, dual-rate line card for ASR 9900 Series chassis, providing 48 SFP/SFP+ ports that each support 1GbE or 10GbE. It’s a “TR” (Traffic-Ready) card designed for large aggregation/edge roles that need lots of 10G/1G interfaces with carrier-grade features. On the ASR 9000/9900 platform family, this generation of 48-port dual-rate cards is built for 400G system throughput with support for oversubscription up to ~480G, Layer 2/3 services, advanced QoS, MPLS, and operation under Cisco IOS XR. Typical use cases include IP/MPLS aggregation, DCI, and edge service termination where port density and deterministic forwarding matter
